1949 - "The Pride of the Yankees".  This was the first re-release of this baseball classic.   What makes this card particularly desirable is Babe Ruth (portraying himself) and Gary Cooper togerther in a close-up. Also, the re-release was a year after Ruth's death and the studio added Ruth's image into the border art which was not in the original 1942 release.  This is a stunning card and the first we have ever seen!! A real treasure for baseball, Babe Ruth and Gary Cooper fans!!   $595
